For Memorial Day!

Memorial Day

We remember our fallen commrades,
We remember patriots all.
From the beginning of our country,
Through wars and through peace,
They stood safeguarding freedom,
Paying the ultimate sacrifice.

This Memorial day shouldn’t be about cookouts and summer,
But inner reflection on how lucky we are
To live in a country where our fellow citizens have worked hard
To keep us free.
