What do you get as Bandwidth increases?

According to Leo Leporte and TWiTs cast, we should see bandwidth increase about 5 fold in the next few years. Sort of like going from dialup to Cable modem speed.

So what’s the big deal? What will we do with all this speed? They suggest that people could have their own broadcasting ability, if the upload speeds increase.

With the iPhone providing decent video capture and ease of uploading to the net, (with others to certainly follow); there is no doubt that we will see more Streaming content.

But is that it? Or will more bandwidth mean just more bandwidth, and it will just be something the consumers will eat because it is there?
